By bicycle
Savannah has limited biking facilities around the city, including: painted, unprotected bike lanes heading north along Lincoln from Victory Street to Colonial Park Cemetery as well as south along Price Street from Bay Street to 41st Street.
By car
The major east-west street through the Historic District is Bay Street, and the major north-south street is Abercorn, which begins at Bay Street and extends south through the city.
By horse and carriage
Horse and carriage is a relaxed option (though not for the horses) for seeing the city at a more leisurely pace and is abundant throughout the historic district.
